Easy Solitaire
Easy and Very Easy deals give you a more helpful opening while preserving the normal rules of Klondike Solitaire.
The rules stay the same
Every difficulty uses standard Klondike play: build the seven columns downward in alternating colors, move only Kings into empty columns, and build each foundation from Ace to King in one suit. Difficulty changes the opening arrangement, not the legal moves. Review the full Klondike Solitaire rules whenever you need them.
Very Easy
Very Easy places two Aces in the stock and two within easy reach in the playing columns. Lower cards are kept easier to uncover, and the deal is generated around a guaranteed route to victory if the correct moves are made. The cards are still shuffled, so each deal can look different and may require careful choices.
Easy, Normal, and Hard
Easy begins with one face-up Ace, keeps the other Aces within easier reach, and tends to provide more helpful opening moves. Normal offers a more varied opening, while Hard begins with fewer obvious opportunities. Easy, Normal, and Hard deals are not guaranteed to be winnable.
You can change the difficulty used for future random games in Settings. Starting a Very Easy game from this page does not silently replace an active game: when confirmation is enabled, the game asks first.
