Prioritize uncovering face-down cards

Turning over a hidden tableau card creates new information and usually opens more moves. When two legal moves are available, favor the one that reveals a card or empties a deeper column—provided it does not close an important option elsewhere.

Check the tableau before using the stock

Before drawing, scan all seven columns for a card or sequence you can move. A tableau move may reveal a card that changes which stock play is best. Think before revealing the next stock card too: once you draw, the current waste card is covered until you work through the stock and recycle it.

Do not rush every card to a foundation

Foundation progress is the goal, but a low card may still be useful for building a tableau sequence. Consider available column moves before automatically sending every Ace, Two, or Three upward. This game lets you move the top foundation card back to a column if needed.

Use empty columns carefully

Only a King, or a correctly ordered group beginning with a King, can enter an empty column. Try not to clear a column without a useful King ready. When several Kings are available, prefer one that also helps uncover a face-down card or releases a longer sequence.

Use undo as a learning tool

Unlimited undo is useful for more than correcting a slip. If a promising move blocks the board, undo it and compare another choice. You can learn how stock timing, color choices, and foundation moves affect the next few turns without starting over.

Recognize a stalled position

A game may have no remaining useful moves when no tableau sequence can move, no hidden card can be exposed, no waste card can be played, and another stock pass presents the same blocked choices. Hint can confirm that it has no helpful suggestion, but it does not prove every deal is solvable. Easy, Normal, and Hard deals may be unwinnable.
